“Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world.”
― Martin Luther
I just love music!!!! I really have no favorites.
I love to make people laugh especially when they don't want to. I have 4 kids ranging in age from 17 - 3 years and have been married for 20 years. We are a foster family and have fostered 15 babies over the past 6 years so you will sometimes see me carrying a baby around. When I'm not teaching music, I am a taxi service for my kids running to volleyball, softball, marching band, voice lessons, etc. We love our life and enjoy being together!!
I received my Bachelors of Music Education from Furman University and my Masters of Music Education from North Greenville University. I have been teaching music for 28 years. I have taught elementary school music, high school music, church music and private lessons.
My mother was an elementary school music teacher. She also taught piano and voice lessons from our home and taught children's choir and lead worship at several of the churches we attended while I was growing up. I was always with her, watching and learning more about music every minute! I realized I loved it just as much as she did very early in my life thanks to her passion and dedication.
I currently teach voice, piano and show choir.
My mother is truly my hero. She taught me how to work hard and do my best in everything I do and care about people and help as much as I can along the way. Above all, however, she taught me to put Christ first in everything I do!
