I began my musical adventure when I was 15 and have enjoyed developing my musical skills over the years. I got my degree in Spanish with a minor in music at North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC in December of 2020 and began working with Note Ability music in May of 2021. I'm excited to work with students as they learn to develop their musical skills and a love for the art!

How did your passion and interest for music start?

When I was 15, I did Irish step dancing and loved Celtic music. My parents wanted me to learn an instrument since they saw that I was musically inclined. One day, my mom happen to see an add in the paper that there was a girl in town who taught Celtic harp lessons and told me about her. I became interested and began my journey as a harpist. When I was 16, I wanted to learn how to play the piano after watching a video of Oleta Adams who collaborated with the band Tears for Fears play the piano. When I was in college, I also learned to play the flute and had the opportunity to play in the band and orchestra. Over the years I have learned to play different kinds of music and have now acquired a new appreciation of it. .

What do you do at NoteAbility?

I teach beginner level piano, preparatory classes and help out around the studio!

Who is your hero and why?

My hero is the Lord Jesus Christ who is the only one that can give life and take life and who is in control of the world no matter how chaotic the world is!
