“life is like a piano. the white ivory keys represent: happiness, love. the black keys represent something darker: hurt and despair. your life will hit its high notes as well as its low, but as you'll discover, you'll need all of the keys to make something truly wonderful.”

Anna Mitchell

On May 5, 2018, I married a handsome, blonde-haired, blue eyed man that I love with my whole heart! We look forward to many years of adventures, coffee dates, and learning to love each other more and more every day! I have been playing piano for 16 years and counting! Photography, crisp fall days, shorts and Chacos, magnificent sunsets, Chick-fil-A cookies, and ALL things coffee are a few of my favorite things! I am very passionate about teaching piano, seeing progress, and helping create joy and happiness in people’s faces when they create amazing music!

How did your passion and interest for music start?

My passion for all things music started at a young age! When I was super little, my grandparents bought me a keyboard. I played that thing all the time. My parents put me in piano lessons when I was 6 years old, and my love for music, playing piano, singing, finding new styles of music, and learning all about the theory behind music has grown so much since then!!

What do you do at NoteAbility?

I teach anyone who desires to learn piano! My goal is to instill in them a drive for musical excellence, encourage them to play from the heart, and produce music with purpose and joy!

Who is your hero and why?

My amazing, hard working mom! She homeschools all my siblings, drives them to tennis practice, music lessons, track meets, church, co-op, choir, and literally everything! My father-in-law said once, "Your mom is like a teacher and a chauffeur who doesn't get paid and works 24/7!" She is so patient and loving and gives so much of herself to our family! She is an amazing cook and deserves much more praise than words can describe! I hope that when I am a mom one day, I can be just as Godly, loving, caring, and patient as her!
