How did your passion and interest for music start?

I started singing at church and at nursing homes in the area when I was little girl, and my love for music grew from there. When I was ten years old, I wanted to be a Country Music singer, so my grandfather took me to the best music teacher he could find, Ms. Julia Helen Garris. She told me, "If you want to be a country music singer, you need to learn piano, and learn to sing Classical Music. If you can sing Classical music, you can sing anything." I took her advice to heart, and have done nothing but grow in my love of all types of music since then!

What do you do at NoteAbility?

I am the Student Onboarding Manager! I also teach preparatory classes, voice and piano lessons!

Who is your hero and why?
