“Music expresses that which cannot be said, and on which it is impossible to be silent.”

I'm extremely good at whistling. I can sing the highest note my last voice teacher had ever heard in person.
Before joining the NoteAbility team, Laura Lynn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Furman University. During her time at Furman, she served as an office assistant and ambassador for the music department. In addition to participating in Furman Chamber Choir and serving as President of Furman Singers, she also performed the roles of Dew Fairy in “Hansel and Gretel” and Queen of the Night in “The Magic Flute” with Furman Lyric Theater, and as 2nd Spirit in "The Magic Flute" with Asheville Lyric Opera. She currently furthers the arts in her community as an alumna of Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity and enjoys performing with SC Bach Choir. Laura Lynn also serves as the music director at Bethel United Methodist Church in Simpsonville, SC. In her free time, she finds joy in spending time with her husband, spoiling her cat, babysitting and volunteering at Grace Church.
I started singing at church and at nursing homes in the area when I was little girl, and my love for music grew from there. When I was ten years old, I wanted to be a Country Music singer, so my grandfather took me to the best music teacher he could find, Ms. Julia Helen Garris. She told me, "If you want to be a country music singer, you need to learn piano, and learn to sing Classical Music. If you can sing Classical music, you can sing anything." I took her advice to heart, and have done nothing but grow in my love of all types of music since then!
I am the Student Onboarding Manager! I also teach preparatory classes, voice and piano lessons!
God. My hero is God. There is nothing I can do without Him. He makes my spirit sing, and has never failed to be at my side.
