During her time at Furman, she served as an office assistant and ambassador for the music department. In addition to participating in Furman Chamber Choir and serving as President of Furman Singers, she also performed the roles of Dew Fairy in “Hansel and Gretel” and Queen of the Night in “The Magic Flute” with Furman Lyric Theater, and as 2nd Spirit in "The Magic Flute" with Asheville Lyric Opera. She currently furthers the arts in her community as an alumna of Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity and enjoys performing with SC Bach Choir. Laura Lynn also serves as the music director at Bethel United Methodist Church in Simpsonville, SC. In her free time, she finds joy in spending time with her husband, spoiling her cat, babysitting and volunteering at Grace Church.
