Our non-traditional approach to teaching allows students to experience and discover the power of music for themselves, under the guidance of experienced instructors.
We believe the catalyst for learning exists in group settings where students can experience music with their peers. The inspiration they gain from each other fuels their learning and enjoyment of music.
Our classroom structure is built around the diversity found in personality, music tastes, and interest in instruments. At NoteAbility, we’re not simply allowing for diversity; we couldn’t operate without it.
Our intention with every student we teach is to get to know them personally—to understand their goals, to listen to their perspective on music, and to learn about what motivates them. These opportunities for relationship-building are what we love most about teaching music because they are the gateway to a better learning experience for our students.
From the beginning, our desire has always been to treat our customers like family and foster a culture of community.
Our group-based preschool program follows the Musikgarten curriculum to offer infants and toddlers the opportunity to learn music while establishing other development skills such as language, movement, and physical coordination.
Launch Pad is the perfect jumpstart to music education for students with little to no musical experience. Designed to give an overview of the basics of music, this program prepares students for launch into our Musicianship Program.
Our most comprehensive program follows the academic school year and offers students the ability to learn music in multiple settings. Students participate in a blend of private and group-based lessons that aid in the development of a well-rounded music education.
Designed for the busier schedules of older teens and adults, our Lesson Passes allow students to learn music on a flexible schedule. These lessons focus on the more technical aspects of study and enable students to focus more narrowly on their goals.
Our Shine program seeks to offer supplemental teaching opportunities to students using various “outside of the box” methods based on needs. These special instruction settings can stand alone or link to other programs offered by NoteAbility Music.
